That said, he's also an old school conservative, so may not be prepared to take an aggressive and proactive view of his mandate as special counsel.

(37,369 posts)I also suspect he has a plan that he will tell trump what will happen. I suspect trump will have a choice. Right now, every day trump stays in power is a small victory.
Trump may however be overtaken by events. His moneybags friends are losing wealth due to him. They may get there before Mueller.

Or a giant cache of documents, emails, voice intercepts, video, showing Trump in the act (espionage, pedophilia, money laundering, the works). If he doesn't hit "do not send" every day,
