Note to Anthony KENNEDY: The only worse damage left to do is to retire

and give TWITLER another seat on the Supreme Court. Him, the supposed "Swing Vote," who swings the wrong way more often than not. As if TWITLER needs any encouragement to exercise vast powers. Wait'll he gets to fill KENNEDY's and probably GINSBERG's seats.

Remember when Bill CLINTON and OBAMA were constantly labelled as not being "relevant" for their lack of power against Repuke obstruction? Now we have this autocrat holding sway as if he has a mandate or political capital.

Besides KENNEDY's history, there's his recent history of hobnobbing with Ivanka and one or two of his sons having jobs in the TWITLER cartel.

Trump’s hidden back channel to Justice Kennedy: Their kids

As White House pushes to confirm Neil Gorsuch, Trump readies lower court picks as they await the next high court vacancy.

By SHANE GOLDMACHER 04/06/2017

.... “Say hello to your boy,” Trump said, “Special guy.” “Your kids have been very nice to him,” Kennedy replied. “Well,” Trump said, “they love him, and they love him in New York.” ....

One back channel is the fact that Kennedy’s son, Justin, knows Donald Trump Jr. through New York real estate circles. Another is through Kennedy’s other son, Gregory, and Trump’s Silicon Valley adviser Peter Thiel. They went to Stanford Law School together and served as president of the Federalist Society in back-to-back years, according to school records. More recently, Kennedy’s firm, Disruptive Technology Advisers, has worked with Thiel’s company Palantir Technologies.

In fact, during the early months of the Trump administration, Gregory Kennedy has worked at NASA as a senior financial adviser as part of the so-called “beachhead” team. Both Kennedy boys were spotted at the White House last month for the administration’s St. Patrick’s Day celebration (Justice Kennedy is Irish Catholic). In February, Ivanka Trump attended oral arguments of the Supreme Court with her daughter. She was a guest of Justice Kennedy. ....

Both of Kennedys sons and Trumps sons have been friends for a while now. During trump's first address to Congress, a camera and mic caught trump talking to kennedy and asking about his kids. Last year, when the rumors of Kennedy's retirement were going around, reporters spotted Kennedy's son meeting with trump jr on a few occasions.

then, I would say that not one federal judge at ANY level should be approved, or even allowed a vote, under a Democratic majority. Let the SCOTUS stay at 4-4

1) As payback for Merrick Garland
2) As payback for the dozens of other federal judges whose nominations languished for a year

Since the Trump 2020 campaign (i.e., Trump Slush Fund) has been going since January of 2017, we use the excuse that there can be no hearings or confirmations during an ongoing presidential campaign.

I genuinely fear, despite all the claims of her good health, that RBG will either pass or be forced to retire due to health while this asshole is in power.

Now I truly wish RBG had retired when Dems had the Senate so Obama could have appointed a much younger justice. If that makes me an ageist them I'm guilty as charged.

I deeply admire her wisdom and experience but the stakes are just too high and it could take generations of struggle to undo the damage that would come if her seat falls into Twitler's hands.

I do not think that is overstating things.

We will have a hard-right judiciary for a very long time.
