Sadly! I used to be a proud citizen of this once great nation.

But slowly, I see that there is nothing to be proud of! The national landscape is becoming more a totalitarian authority. The tricks from the right has put us in a peril of destruction. I am hopeful that the Congress will be flipped, but I am also afraid that just like Turkey, they will have rigged the election to keep the GOP in control! We still need to fight and can't give in. It has to be more than a blue wave, it has to be the country standing up to Trump/Putin and their goons of crime.

I am ashamed to be an American.
I am ashamed of being white.
I am ashamed of living in a red county.

I am also extremely scared for my fellow ( what used to be Americans ) who disagree with the fascist regime we are in. I know a lot of us are going to lose a lot or lose everything ( maybe our lives. )

I am afraid for the rest of the world as our fascist rulers all over the world are working together to bring us down.

We live in Portland OR and are seriously looking at Vancouver BC to get the hell out of here. We are fighting it cuz we don't want to leave but these are horrible times and I don't see recovery anytime soon. I want my son living in a sane and safe environment without the hatred and fear. We'll make final decision after November.
