Act Blue takes almost 4% out of every donation that goes through them, and their software is so messed up that legitimate donations often get either blocked or deducted from a credit card on a monthly basis forever without the donor's consent.

Get a mailing address and send a check. I do. It costs you a stamp, but your candidate gets 100% of the donation instead of 92% after the credit card company and Act Blue take their cut.
