Bye Kennedy, Hello Gilead...

I know...it's hyperbolic, but it's how I'm feeling right now.

Roe V. Wade will be either weakened into irrelevance or overturned altogether. Voting rights will be a thing of the past. Civil rights will be chiseled down to a twig.

Being a woman will be considered a pre-existing condition. Minorities will be seen as a class that doesn't need special protections as will the LGBTQ community.

I'm starting to think we'll need to have a real underground to protect those who'll need it most in this country.

I may be white, but I don't want a white America that caters only to the white Christian and to hell with the rest of the world.

the Court divided along the perceived ideological lines 10 times with Justice Kennedy joining the conservative justices (Roberts, Scalia, Thomas and Alito) five times and with the liberal justices (Ginsburg, Breyer, Sotomayor and Kagan) five times.
