Today shows, once again, that all that really matters is electing Democrats.

It's ironic that the SCOTUS news comes right on the heels of the primary upset that has delighted many of the same Jill Stein sympathizers that got us into this mess. OK, maybe Ocasio-Cortez is a better fit for her district than Crowley, but you know what? It makes no difference. It's one house member. The only way it would make a real difference is if the seat were at risk, which it isn't. That house seat is going D either way.

The Janus decision actually matters. So does the Kennedy retirement. This isn't "sending a message," it's real. People will suffer.

is electing Democrats willing to fight. Gorsuck should never have made it to the Court. If we won't defend our rights we'll lose them.

There was nothing the Dems, with a minority in the Senate, could do to prevent McConnell from running out the clock on Merrick Garland. Being more "willing to fight" would have done nothing. Furious speeches do nothing. Only winning elections makes a difference.
