If you haven't already, find and join a local network of drivers for women's reproductive health.

In many states, Georgia, New York, Texas and Washington, to name a few, there are groups of people who aid women in getting to appointments, providing free childcare, and free places to stay while seeking an abortion.

You can volunteer for full "hosting" or you can drive or offer childcare - something - to help women exercise their right to an abortion.

Yes, that does sometimes mean crossing state lines. Most times, the woman gets herself to the necessary locale. Not always though.

The need to cross state lines is increasing in some areas as the number of clinics dwindle.

NARAL

National Network of Abortion Funds.

Access - Women's Health Justice

A search on the net will give you information about local groups in your state, if any.

There are numbers to call at the links to get more information.

The Haven Coalition NY City

Spark Reproductive Justice Atlanta, Georgia

Call the numbers you see and find out about opportunities to help in your area or near your area.

Thank you,

I suspect Red States will make it a crime to abet an out-of-state abortion. TomSlick Jun 2018 #2

Women have long been a part of the resistance because of the hate directed at us as people and because of our struggle for reproductive freedom.

I understand that I'm being glum but I can see it happening.

Anita Crown played by Mary Stuart Masterson : If your laws don't include me, well then, they don't apply to me either.

Any law imposed on women/girls without any actual consideration for the rights of women/girls is a law I do not have to follow.

Obedience - to an authoritarian government - is the invisible chain of your oppression.

However, civil disobedience comes at a price. It is the knowledge of the price that makes disobedience bravery.
