Why doesn't Trump just send the House and Senate home??

He doesn't need them anyway. He can handle running the government all by himself. The House and Senate are just in the way and are serving no useful function. They should just go home and let Trump run everything himself. After all, they gave up any responsibility, they may have had, a long time ago. They have surrendered to the dictator in charge so there is no reason for them to pretend any longer. Just go home.

But...the GOP Crime Family...they are always up to no good...since they just got this wonderful news with Kennedy.... planning the next crime brings all kinds of enthusiasm for McConnell

So much of what they do in camera is a sham, and most of their days are filled with fundraising, which lets money vote directly on the issues before them. There aren't a lot of representatives left who are responsive to actual constituencies. We do seem to be on a course toward the day when an American president dissolves Congress, but for now the fiction is useful to the powerful.
