Ted Lieu Retweeted Donald J. Trump
Dear @realdonaldtrump: Congress, not you, gets to decide if the US declares war. I believe we need to do everything we can to avoid war with North Korea.
In the meantime, can you address reports from US intel officials that N Korea is increasing nuclear fuel & deceiving you?

Many good conversations with North Korea-it is going well! In the meantime, no Rocket Launches or Nuclear Testing in 8 months. All of Asia is thrilled. Only the Opposition Party, which includes the Fake News, is complaining. If not for me, we would now be at War with North Korea!

(30,481 posts)I also fail to understand the concept that lots and lots of elected democrats aren't tweeting just like this. Seems a bit deceptive if you ask me, which you didn't. Pretty sure it's simply about rolling back any possible real effort or involvement.

Ted Lieu tags Trump ( "@realDonaldTrump" ) which means that whether he actually reads it or not, it shows up on Trump's radar.

(18,837 posts)...the next President will be far less active on Twitter. A tweet or two a day about policy or something relevant is not bad, but I will welcome an end to the endless rage tweets about this one Lyin' and that one Cryin' and the no collusion witch hunt.

(53,410 posts)but once some doors have been broken down there is no turning back. The good old days will be just that.
But there is a silver lining to Twitter. Itll make you think before you post a verifiable lie.

(38,958 posts)I do not find it either useful or particularly informative. The gosh he really slammed him or her on Twitter leads no where. Its shouting at each other, not talking to each other.
