I don't believe that he will flip on Trump. I don't believe that he will "plead guilty to a single felony count, in exchange for becoming a key witness for the prosecution" as Dean did.
I do believe he is sending up a flare for a Trump pardon.
If I'm wrong, I'll be the first to admit it.
But in no way, shape or form do I believe that Cohen will be the guy who helps Mueller "take down Trump."
Do I believe he has the ability to do it, if he spilled all of the beans?
Oh, of course I do.
Will he?
Of course he won't.

(3,975 posts)he is playing this for all it's worth...the George Steph interview...good article on that whole deal in Vanity Fair today....a big old reality show to him. He is as looney as Mooch and Spicer and the rest of them.

(13,903 posts)I think Cohen has dirt on the Pig that would embarrass him and might even be criminal, nonviolent, fraud type crimes.
I don't think he knows dick about the campaign or what the lackeys and the spawn did with Russia.

(4,999 posts)The choices are:
1) A signed agreement with Mueller et. al., for guaranteed reduced sentencing if you flip.
2) Trusting the most vindictive man on the planet to NOT make an example of you and let you rot in prison for your disloyalty in any form, real or perceived.
Seems like choice number 1 is the least risky, by far. Cohen may be an unethical jerk, but he's not entirely stupid.
