Trump may be about to destroy the one thing that protects him.

His false image. Trump has spent at least the last 50 years creating a false image of himself. That was his profession.

He created a false image that he is a great business man, a great deal maker. " Perhaps the greatest ever." Trump is neither, Trump is a con man, he blackmailed people his entire life. He used people , he used lawyers to attack people. He was great at attacking contractors for the work they had done. Trump has been an asshole his entire life.

It worked in the business world, it does not work on the world stage. Trump told his voters the deal with North Korea was done. They were going to give up their nuclear weapons. That was beyond dumb. Even his, we don't believe in reality voters, will notice that he lied.

Trump told his voters he will win the tariff war. He told them to take a little pain and in the end you will win. Trump went all in, he put all his chips in on this tariff war. If he fails, the economy falters, Americans get hurt, his false image will be exposed.

That will be the end of Trump.

However, supposedly many Harley ee's said they'd still vote for him again, even if he drove their jobs overseas. I think these asses are so well brainwashed and so very ignorant that I truly don't know what will wake them up, it seems like nothing will. Anyone who promotes caging children and who posts that they should be inside electrified cages (as many of them did), well there's just no hope for murderous idiotic pretend people like that.

I think at this point he's about as damaged as he's going to be. He isn't going to sink much further because some people will support him no matter what. He's sunk down to the level where they're his only reliable support. It's now up to us to get out the vote and not screw this up. If we can do that, he's toast in 2020, and we might even win back the House.

"Natural consequences" is a great thing. Some will definitely work out they've been snookered and change sides. Some of them will be the community influencers and bring over others.

Some will double down and even go down with the ship. Some will just tune out. It's just as well that they stop voting or contributing, frankly.

I have no idea how this breaks down by percentage. However, we don't need many to switch, as long as election tampering is minimal.

It's unfortunate that we all have to take this medicine, rather than just the fools who bought this program.

The assumption is that everything Trump does leads to wreckage. It's good to keep in mind that it is possible, however unlikely it may seem, that some of Trump's initiatives might work. If so, his popularity will rise, and he will get credit (deservedly so). I personally think the odds of that are pretty close to zero (I'm taking that bet) but there's plenty I don't know and I know natural consequences could apply to me as well as anyone.

It's one thing to admit you were wrong, it's another thing to admit you've been swindled. People feel it's like raising your hand and announcing you're stupid and gullible.

Many victims would rather hide in a hole, or worse, double down to be victims of further cons.

But we have had numerous "this will do him in" incidents in the last 3 years and haven't even made a dent in the vast majority of his minions. I've been hoping that every gaff, mistake, and complete fuck-up chips away just a few more of his blind horde, but his poll numbers remain steady.

It's embarrassing to be human. We're a stupid and vicious species.

Second,Trump was never a great deal maker,it was his Lawyer and Book Keeper who did the work. Trump would bullshit his way into a deal and have his two flunkies clean it up. Thirdly,Trump's main Idol was PT Barnum, and he fashioned himself after him. He learned as a Kid he could Lie his way in and out of any situation.

Some Tepiblicans are racists and deplorables.

But a good fraction are just completely in the Fox and Limbaugh bubble of lies.

Our goal should be to pull those people out - teach them that Fox lies to them to get votes for rightwing billionaires.

Because the ONLY thing holding the president up is his false reputation. Non-rightwing media outlets are telling it like it is.

But Fox and Limbaugh are not reporting the failure of the NK meetup. Not reporting the failure of the tariffs.
In other words, Fox News is Lying to people.

If we want to get this president out, the most important thing we can do is tell all our friends and family: Fox News Lies (to get votes for rightwing billionaires).

They do NOT hear the truth!

They live in their bubble world, go to their bubble churches, and listen ONLY to their RW lying "news" sources.

They consider the truth to be lies.

I know too many of these people, people who will never admit that they've been snookered. It's just too painful. (It took the South 100 years to get over the Civil War. Some places still have reenactments - guess they're hoping for a different outcome? )

No one will ever openly admit they’ve been suckered. But they will change their views quietly. That’s what happened with Nixon.

I think and hope we are near a big crisis point for Fox where their wall of lies breaks. Let’s help push them over.
