I'd googled yesterday and found almost nothing beyond the old "somewhere in Texas" kind of thing, or a picture of a few girls being walked down a NY street.

A local newspaper in MI did report on a blind twelve-year-old girl who'd been trafficked (my word) to the Bethany Christian Center foster care agency there. Rep. Debbie Dingell and 3 other Democratic reps toured and saw 10 children 3-4 and one under a year, gender not mentioned. Press and pictures not allowed.

You're chiding me for apparently (not really, but apparently) not being sufficiently alarmed by the lies -- but see, I was taken aback by your apparent lack of concern for LIVES, especially vis a vis taxes.

Your concern for the children (and mine, too, might I say), is rightfully stated - and is but one of many issues regarding the terrible direction that IQ45 is leading us.

I have 2 grandchildren - both under 2 years old. The thought of them being "taken" in the name of "whatever-the-f**k" IQ45 and the Repugs claim it to be in - leaves me in extreme anger. I can't imagine the anguish the parents and families must endure, along with the other BS that is occurring in their lives.

This is NOT the United States that I want to live in - the United States that I want to be a part of - the United States that I believe should be a model for what is best for each and every person - regardless of origin or color.

I want to be here - I want this country to be a beacon of freedom - I want it to be a "safe harbor" - and I want IQ45 and his evil-spirited people gone (that means "out of power" - not "eliminated from life&quot .

So I’m just going to say it. My son was privately adopted. White children were about $30,000 or more depending on gene pool proof. Legal and medical fees, you know. I didn’t have a requested race. Hispanic babies were about $12,000. Black babies were $8,000. My son is biracial. My legal fees were $18,000. My lawyer “joked” that he was on sale.
So yes, I bought my child, although his parents chose me and it was all open and upfront. He was premature and sickly, so if I had chosen to turn him down, his “price” would have decreased. But, based on supply and demand, I’m not sure that the reason is adoption. These people don’t want babies who are not white. I really think it’s the price of detention that they want. Cold, loveless, unending detention. It’s worse than stealing and selling kids to people who are desperate for kids. I think it’s stealing and forgetting them, letting them rot, for people desperate for more money than they need.
And, yes, the “price” based on race still sickens me, and although I paid, my child is still the greatest gift anyone has ever and could possibly give to me. The lawyer, I guess, is a predator, but that girl stood in the hospital with tears streaming down her cheeks and handed me this tiny human who instantly became my world. She is my hero, his angel, and stronger than many. And she has her own family now, on her terms, when she was ready.

Girls will always be more profitable in trafficking. The market for boys is smaller.

Those 2 questions have never been satisfactorily answered. WHY ARE THEY NOT TELLING US? What has happened to these innocent children?

WHY is the Republican caucus not demanding answers? Why are you allowing this total lack of transparency, to include having members of Congress refused entry to any of the facilities housing the children? Why the lies and obfuscations in general? It’s been totally outrageous.
