(3,492 posts)Made great points and gave lessons everyone should take to heart. And, as always, funny as hell.

(31,261 posts)His points about how we as democrats allow ourselves to get backed into a no win corner because of being overly sensitive about somethings were good. His point on Islamophobia was good, most Muslims in America are good people, but there are some that want to kill people, republicans state the extreme, but touch on stuff that makes common sense better than we do, so they often win when they should not. There was another thread tonight on abortion, republicans have hammered us with the claim that we are pro abortion, but I saw person after person embrace that term when pro choice covers all the important freedoms and doesn't leave us defending our values.

(53,959 posts)With the exceptions of it be a bit warm in there because of the lights, the cameraman sometimes stepping in front of us, and the seats being small, the show was great! He was on point and it the audience, as one can hear, really responded to him. The gasps when he said he didn't like "Breaking Bad" was hysterical! He actually got some boos from the back and mezzanine, but it didn't translate to the video (we watched some when he got home).
