She declared that the cabinet agreed to her Chequers proposal.

The events of today so far don't really bear that out.

She's due to meet with the 1922 Committee early this evening (this was arranged before the current fuss). It's a committee of Conservative Party backbench MPs that basically decides who gets to be prime minister when the Tories have a majority in the House of Commons. She might not last the day unless she decides to prolong this farce for some reason.
