Trump confidant claims US President 'MIGHT SUE' over Sadiq Khan-approved protest balloon

So Trump minions claims he is for freedom of speech, he finds the balloon funny but he might sue...

What's absolutely hilarious, is that he might sue for...copyright ! In other words, he agrees the balloon depicts him ? I'd love to see that !

TRUMP confidant Chris Ruddy claimed US President Donald Trump 'might sue' protesters planning to release a huge Trump baby balloon over the skies of London during his visit to the UK.

Last week Sadiq Khan's Greater London Authority announced it had approved protesters' plans to release a huge balloon depicting US President Donald Trump as an angry baby wearing a nappy.

The decision provoked the outcry of Trump supporters in the UK but confidant Chris Ruddy revealed the president will "probably" find the balloon "funny."

Speaking to BBC Radio 4's Today programme, Mr Ruddy said: "Trump will think the baby balloon is about him so it's probably a positive thing.

"He might sue for copyright but he does find these things funny and interesting. All of this controversy gives him energy, so he enjoys that."

That would potentially mean that all caricatures of politicians in editorial cartoons constitute copyright infringement.

Good luck with that one, Donny.

Indeed !

What's funny too, is that he'll sues Khan who has nothing to do with the "copyright"...

He allowed a balloon to float over London as Mayor.

Good luck with that too Whiny Donnie !

which is supposed to be about "intellectual property" -- LOL. That makes it even funnier.

I'm pretty sure as a politician he can't copyright his image -- and in fact, even as a private citizen copyright doesn't enter into it. Trademark, perhaps, but again, not as a politician.

6. Does that mean people can sue him for the nicknames he gives them?

Or that Native Americans can sue him for using Pocahontas as a pejorative for Senator Warren?
