The Blimp's crowd size, reminiscent of the "Inanimate Carbon Rod" gag from "The Simpsons."

Longtime fans of "The Simpsons" will see the connection immediately. Homer has been passed over as "Employee of the Month" until it gets to the point where every employee EXCEPT Homer has received the honor, so he KNOW that they will HAVE to give it to him, and instead they give it to an Inanimate Carbon Rod. A wide-eyed, star-struck and incredulous Bart asks Homer "Did you actually get to SEE the rod?"
