If Donald Trump misspoke yesterday

while playing Putin's cuck at the press conference, why did he not correct it last night on Sean Hannity? Or, why not correct it via sending out a tweet about it? or, have the White House issue an official statement late last night or early this morning?

Why wait over 17 hours after Hannity, and over 24 hours after the Putin/Trump press conference, to do it?

Inquiring Minds want to know?

He said "I don't see any reason why Russia wouldn't be involved" and then followed it up with "but it could also have been someone else."

That's not a correction. That's doubling down.
