There won't be a mark for any Repubs on my ballot.

Postmarked by today or dropped off at a ballot drop location before 8:00 tonight.

(26,219 posts)Looks like of the 3 he tried, that is the spaghetti that stuck to the wall.
In March 2012, Anderson announced that he was seeking the presidential nomination of Americans Elect in addition to campaigning as the Justice party nominee. The following May, Americans Elect announced that it would not run a presidential nominee in 2012.
Anderson also sought the presidential nomination of the Peace and Freedom Party, but withdrew his bid for that nomination in August 2012.
He just withdrew from Peace and Freedom last Thursday.

(114,904 posts)of your "convictions". By now you surely know if he meets your ever so high and pure standards.
Does he?
Are you voting for President Obama in November?
Really, screw up your courage and answer a direct question with a direct answer. What good are your lofty ideals without being able to stand up for them?
Tierra_y_Libertad
(50,414 posts)What's so "high" about standards that require a professional politician to be progressive and anti-war? And, speaking of "pure", does apply to people who demand that people tow the party line?
I have the archaic notion that my vote belongs to me not the party or any particular candidate.

(11,921 posts)Straight Dem ticket, and I made that known to the pollster who called me last night. He asked me what the biggest problem I thought America was facing this election cycle. I told him the gridlock in DC that the Republicans have caused by not working with the President to make American people/jobs their first priority!

Not sure about Olson vs. Nutcase Rogers though - hopefully I can just leave that blank because I'm not voting for a La Rouchie who promises to work on impeaching Obama.

(9,127 posts)I intend to vote for President Obama and Paul Sadler, a Texas Democrat, to take over Kay Bailey Hutchison's US Senate seat. It's time we had a Texas senator who represents ALL Texans, not just a handful of sectarians and the usual moneybags planning to enrich themselves at taxpayers' expense.

(114,904 posts)Just my opinion. And as for your lame reason for potentially voting for Romney. phttt.

(305 posts)" All politics is local". My mayor had a great shot to win, but Elizabeth Warren wouldn't run unless it was clear sailing through the primary. So the party threw all the other candidates under the bus. Elizabeth Warren can naff off.

(904 posts)You'd potentially subject the country to Romney just to ensure that SOS Clinton gets her chance?
I understand that you hold Mrs. Clinton in high regard but that's insane...imo.

(62,325 posts)But it's clever to try to excuse voting for Romney and Brown by claiming you're only doing it so that five years from now, Hillary, who has shown no inclination she is running.
I give credit for creativity, always.

Not sure who is running against Pat Tiberi for the House, so I can't say with 100 percent certainty that I will vote for them without knowing who they are. But unless they are truly god-awful I'll vote for them. If they are that bad I'll leave it blank or write in myself

(10,893 posts)Although there are some actions that I disagree with the president on, I acknowledge the number of beneficial things he has accomplished in spite of an obstructive GOP congress (like the Fair Pay Act and Health Care reform), plus he is our only viable alternative to this guy:
[IMG][/IMG]
All of the other more liberal candidates like Rocky Anderson and Jill Stein lack viability and aren't too well-known. It would in essence be a wasted vote to support any 3rd party candidate, at least until there's some type of election reform where there's ranked-choice voting.
