WOW! What was just said on Lawrence O ' Donnell by a former prosecutor..

He said the mostly likely reason Trump hasn't been subpoenaed by Mueller is that Trump is now a target!

He said in his experience as a prosecutor working with grand juries, He does not recall a target being subpoenaed.

But keep in mind even if Trump is a target, he can't be removed without Congress. That's the major issue here.

But we have Russian hacking, gerrymandering, voter suppression, and an apathetic voter base to contend with. It's a very uphill battle.

It takes a 2/3 vote in the Senate to remove from office. There just aren't enough vulnerable R seats up in this election to take the Senate IMHO.

Of like EVERYONE around the m*****f****r, DETAILED shit, full of bombshells (preferably with JaRED and Butthead and maybe even Beavis ... And F***ING NUNES and hell maybe LaPierre for good measure) ... and Dumpie as an 'unindicted co-conspirator' ... wasn't that what they did with Nixon?

Then we have to hope the GOP aren't SO FAR gone that they refuse to behave according to what the circumstances clearly dictate.

persons CLOSE to Trump (let alone Trump, himself). Once he unseals an indictment of JR or Kusner, for example, or even Roger Stone, everything will escalate to a fevered pitch.

Seems like he must lay a lot of groundwork so that it will be just like rapid dominoes falling, not allowing Trump to respond.

One of these days, we are likely to see a volcano go off in DC....what a cataclysm that will be... Yikes

The last pardon will be for himself just as the Senate starts voting for impeachment (assuming they get to that point). He will be in the ground before the courts resolve whether a sitting President can pardon himself.

Chances are that the actual case for pre-election conspiracy with the Russians will not be clear cut (if it was I don't think we would have reached this point).

I posted about this last week. The Dept of Justice has a policy of not subpoenaing those identified as targets. Two weeks ago, they dragged Rudy out of his coffin to babble about his "rules" preventing Trump from talking to prosecutors, and expressed his belief Trump won't be called before the grand jury. This, plus the 12 Russian indictments, have resulted in Trump's unhinged behaviors.

But, how do they take him down.

Victory in Midterms will slow him down.
