Steve Schmidt challenged Paul Ryan to prove he has a backbone...

He called him the weakest Speaker in history.

Paul Ryan could remove Devin Nunes from the Committee and work to get the truth about Russia, by supporting Robert Mueller's investigation until it is ended.

Schmidt was begging for him to show a little courage. He said he could do it in the next five minutes if he wanted.

I think Schmidt should be the Speaker...

Paul Ryan and the party of Trump could give two flips about what Steve Schmidt thinks. They don't even care about what they think among themselves. How many times have we been told how they are alarmed about and hate Trumps behavior. They are all complicit at this time and useless. To expect the Vichy Congress to do something is unrealistic. They all have gone full bore Weasel.

Paul Ryan told them to keep it secret. Backbone? They are all part of the conspiracy and coverup.

Relax. Had you going, didn't I? I'm kidding, of course. He's a REPUBLICAN.

But he's a Republican with guts, spine and most wonderfully resplendent of all -- integrity. Vision too.

I love to hear him talk about history, as well. He's clearly one of my favorite Republicans. (There are about 5, maybe.)

And he's at least trying to make amends. In the current moment I'll take all the American Allies I can get.

But that doesn't mean he's absolved himself of his sins (yet...but ill give him credit where it's due...Nichole Wallace was also a part of bringing us to where we are, and as far as I know, she still considers herself a Republican)

I think it is unfortunate that people continue to attack him. I have never believed that every republican is an evil person. And he admits that the Palin thing was a big mistake.

At this point, I consider him an 'Eisenhower' Republican, with not a racist bone in his body. We could use more of them for sure, but until he's willing to raise taxes on Charles and David because he's smart enough to know it's what's good for the economy, I'd be voting for his opponent in any general election.
