Soybean farmers complain about Trump's trade war but say they'll stand by him 'to the death'

Martin Cizmar 28 JUL 2018 AT 20:16 ET

Farmers being hit by the Chinese tariffs imposed on American agriculture products as part of Trump’s trade war say they don’t want handouts.

In an interview with NBC Nightly News, four farmers said that prices on their products have dropped 20 percent and that a share of Trump’s $12 million handout won’t do them much good.

All of the farmers interviewed said they voted for Trump.

“I’m a good American, I believe that we all have to toe the line,” said another farmer. “Am I willing to take my lumps for the benefit of the entire country? Yes, I personally am.”

How long can the farmers endure these tariffs?

“To the death,” one said.

Sure, they are just ordinary farmers and they rae losing their farm, but owning the libs gives these people a feeling that they have achieved some sort of victory.

Definitely preferably before November 6.

But let's remember that probably a third of all soybean farmers did NOT vote for Trump, most voted Democratic, and they have the same danger of economic ruin, including for some losing farms that have been in their families for generations, the same as that despicable idiot.

sick phenomenon in American Culture. The worst case scenario of the results of incessant brainwashing taking the whole Country down with them.. IF WE DON'T WIN!

And, we still have the Russian hackers to fight OFF.

Can we even imagine how big a job Robert Mueller has on his shoulders?

Once things really tighten up for them and the bank starts calling for the loan payments let's hear from them again. When politics goes from local to personal everything changes.

when it becomes truly personal things change. Most non-corp family farms are already operating on a razors edge and so it won't take much for them to fall off of it. They're risking their and their children and grandchildren's future just to stroke a moronic con man's ego.

They still do not understand that tRump does not care about them. He cares about one thing, and one thing only. tRump. That’s it in a nutshell. Oh, and that BS about what a great deal maker he is.....total and utter fabrication. Lies. All lies. But that does not fit their narrative, so carefully pounded into their heads. So it can’t be true. They will wake up far too late to matter. Hard to generate an ounce of sympathy for these Bozos. If they lose their farms, my take on it is ....Oh, well. Them’s The breaks, Suckers.
