They're not doing it in Chesapeake Bay or Lake Huron. It's their neighborhood and their right as a sovereign nation.

it's a strait with multiple nations with rights/interests in it. If they are sticking to their territorial waters and not blocking access by other nations sure, no problem.

If they aren't, could be a problem.

Iran likely scheduled the exercise a long time ago, but there are recent events, especially the stupid tweet by the orange idiot, that create more tension with regards to military.

Then you have right winger Netanyahu just itching for conflict with Iran.

The Straits of Hormuz is a vital shipping lane with a lot of international traffic daily.



It is worth mentioning and monitoring.
