Can Democrats Fund Our Own Group of Hackers to Fight Back Against Russia?

I have scoured the news and found no mention of American hackers fighting back against Russia. If the Orange Dipshit won't do it, maybe Democrats should. Surely there are legions of liberal hackers out there willing to take the lead. Maybe we should stop taking punches and start throwing a few. Make the costs for attacking the USA rise for Vlad. I am sure we can play his game as well or better than him.

The US government has a cyber-warfare division and you have to know that we are always trying to get into the computers of other countries to find information.

You also have to know that the US has attempted to influence elections throughout history and using various means including cyber campaigns.

What we don't do is advertise it on our news and or work with stupid candidates like Donald Trump who can't keep his mouth shut.

What the Democrats can and should do is invest in the best security software and possibly use people to aggressively defend against hackers, but it would be extremely dumb of Democrats to actually pay people to illegally hack computers.

My understanding is that a part of the power they had in 2016 is that most of us - progressives, liberals, democrats - did not know about all the lies being spread on FB. If we can learn about the stories that are being spread, we could fight back - mostly by pointing out the stupidity of the lies being told.
