I mean, it's always been a cesspool, but I never thought it really had any relevance in the real world. Figured it was just a bunch "edge-lords" just trying to out do each other with offensive posts and images. But in the end it was all just people screwing around and none of them actually believed what they said. I guess when people immerse themselves into that, and some of them having that be their only "social" interactions growing up, then then reality and how to be a decent real human gets a bit fuzzy.
