Inaccurate and Unfair?

Yet again we are told by Sarah Huckabee Sanders, along with the usual Trump-enablers, that the media has been inaccurate and unfair in their reporting on this mis-administration. She has said that Trump is merely “fighting back” against journalists who treat him “unfairly”. She stated that the media “holds a high level of responsibility”, and yet apparently feels that the so-called “pResident” has absolutely no responsibility to tell the truth.

I, for one, would like to hear exactly what it is that the media has been reporting that is inaccurate or unfair.

Was it inaccurate or unfair to report that Trump himself told Lester Holt that he’d fired Comey because of the “Russia thing”?

Was it inaccurate or unfair to report that Trump disclosed highly classified information to the Russians in a closed-door meeting in the Oval Office? He did it, and his surrogates admitted that it happened. So where was the inaccuracy or unfairness in any journalist saying so?

What is inaccurate or unfair about pointing out Trump lies to the American people on a daily basis, lies that are obvious and are proven to be lies?

What is inaccurate or unfair about reporting Trump’s own words when he tweets complete bullshit, or attacks private citizens because they are opposed to his policies – or simply because they dropped Ivanka’s clothing line in their stores, or wrote a bad review of a Trump restaurant?

What is inaccurate or unfair about reporting that the “tax-cut” that was touted as benefiting the middle-class has turned out to be only of benefit to the wealthy? What is inaccurate or unfair about reporting that Trump’s “hire Americans first” slogan has been undermined by the fact that he has staffed Mara Lago with foreign workers, and has all of his branded merchandise manufactured in low-wage countries?

What is inaccurate or unfair about the media reporting on the despicable action of separating migrant children from their parents at the border, and the fact that this policy has been condemned around the world?

What is inaccurate or unfair about reporting Trump’s blatant insults aimed at our allies, his ignorance of how our government functions, or the fact that he praises Putin at every opportunity, and has stated that he takes Putin’s word over the word of our own intelligence community?

What is inaccurate or unfair about highlighting the fact that Trump was “had” by Kim Jung-Un, and his declaration that North Korea was no longer a threat was not only false, it has proven to be downright laughable?

What is inaccurate or unfair about reporting that Trump has been met by massive protests around the world, is reviled by our traditional allies, and whose abject stupidity it the butt of every late-night show monologue?

What is inaccurate or unfair about informing the populace that despite Trump’s campaign promises, he spends an inordinate amount of time on the golf course, has yet to get Mexico to pay for his border wall, and is pursuing policies that personally enrich himself and his family?

What was inaccurate or unfair about reporting what Americans - and people the world over - saw with their own eyes and heard with their own ears when Trump did everything but get on his knees and fellate Putin in public?

We’ve heard repeatedly from the Trump enablers that the news coverage has beeninaccurate and unfair. What we’ve yet to hear from these same people is exactly what has been either inaccurate or unfair.

The truth seems obvious – to everyone other than Trump and his enablers. If he stopped lying, journalists wouldn’t talk about his lies. If he stopped pulling alleged facts and statistics out of his ass, reporters wouldn’t write about the fact that he does so. If he stopped acting like an unhinged idiot, the media would stop talking about how unhinged his behaviour actually is.

Trump and his ass-kissers keep complaining that the media coverage is consistently negative. Maybe – just maybe – if he stopped doing things that have profoundly negative consequences to the nation and its citizens, the media coverage wouldn’t be as negative as it has been.

Trump’s recent admonition to his woefully ignorant followers was ”What you’re seeing and what you’re reading is not what’s happening.” THAT is his response to the facts – and a completely accurate and fair reporting of those facts - which he simply labels as “fake news” as though that were an appropriate answer.

I’d really like to hear Sarah Huckabee Sanders – or any of the other Trump flunkies – give us a detailed rundown of precisely when and where the journalists covering this so-called “pResidency” have been unfair and/or inaccurate. I’d like to hear the usual ass-lickers explain exactly where the media has reported anything about Spanky McShithole that isn’t borne out by irrefutable facts.

Class? Anyone? Bueller?

Well, no one with a functioning brain is holding their breath waiting for an answer – simply because there isn’t one. Sarah Huckabee Sanders et al ARE the epitome of “fake news”. They promote it, they sell it, and they shove it down the throats of people too stupid to recognize it for what it is.

The truth is that when you build an entire “pResidency” on a foundation of lies and non-facts that are pulled out of Trump’s more-than-ample ass, defending those lies requires more than yelling “fake news” on a regular basis.

To insist that the media is being inaccurate and unfair requires the proof thereof – and the reason we're not hearing that proof is simply because it doesn’t exist.

He just doesn't like what they say about him, so he accuses them of being "an enemy of the people". He is the worst kind of propagandist, stirring up murderous hatred among his base toward the fifth estate. This will not turn out well and it will be entirely his fault.

We are certainly experiencing how authoritatian governments succeed. If we get through this on the other end, with a still intact Democratic Republic, imagine how much common sense the majority will have built into themselves.

It could be on the level of post depression, and to last 40 years. I hope that does happen. Right now, I have no idea.

Tonight I read a man incarcerated in a interment camp attempted suicide . Another is on suicide watch. And a child, a child recently released, died. Neglect and from a virus she was exposed to during her time at a summer getaway interment camp, compliments of the trump admin. They are trying to contact her grandmother in NJ.

SHS can just go fugg herself.

someone ask those very questions at the next "press conference" ( if IQ45 ever dares to hold another one) or the daily "who can we insult today" show hosted by SHS.
