(58,785 posts)other Democratic candidates were careful not to actually attack Whitmer in the last debate. Since she will almost certainly be the Democratic nominee for governor in this swing state, she of course doesn't have their luxury of tacking to the left. She will the one who will be filling state offices if she wins, and I'm wondering if he might like to work to advance healthcare from within and position for his next run.
In any case, if the poll numbers are an indication, four days from now they will all classily bow out and hopefully throw themselves into rescuing MI from the Republicans.

(58,785 posts)that will elect a Democratic governor. Or fair to.
Michigan is also a state that was once one of the nations wealthiest, and whose citizens are now poorer than average, where the roads are falling apart, and where many schools are failing to do an adequate job educating the kids, and college graduates are leaving the state to find work. ...
Republican Attorney General Bill Schuette, 64, is the clear frontrunner, and has been running for governor, some say, since he was elected attorney general in 2010.
Hes a strong supporter of President Trump, who endorsed him early on in a tweet that unfortunately misspelled his name. Personally wealthy by inheritance, he has raised millions, much of it from major corporations.
He has long strongly appealed to social conservatives, opposing same-sex marriage and legalized marijuana in addition to abortion.[

But they used a legal loophole to subvert transparency. Over $550,000 used to sway voters in this race are untraceable.
Its why I dont take corporate money.
But hey - no politician ever takes a punch at his opponent. Only those approved by those who shall be nameless.
Yeah - unity. It's why the Democrats will probably blow this midterm - some of those just can't seem to help themselves.
