Roger Stone associate 'Manhattan Madam' met with Mueller's team: report

Investigators with special counsel Robert Mueller’s office on Wednesday interviewed Kristin Davis, the former prostitution mogul who went to prison for her ties to former New York Gov. Eliot Spitzer (D).

Davis, dubbed the “Manhattan Madam,” voluntarily met with federal investigators regarding her relationship with longtime Trump adviser Roger Stone, CNN reported Friday.

The network noted that it is unclear what the focus of her interview was or how she is connected to Mueller's investigation into Russian interference in the 2016 presidential election and possible collusion between the Trump campaign and Moscow.

Four sources familiar with the situation told the network that investigators expressed interest in having Davis testify before a grand jury regarding her decade-old ties with Stone.
