However, she's only a kid, too young to know she isn't a kid.

Those students had their childhood ripped away from them on February 14, 2018. They lives will be forever defined by that day.

My niece is one of them. She is 15. 15. Her life has been turned upside down and inside out. She will never be the same, and all of the therapy in the world is never going to erase the things she saw that day. Nor stop the nightmares she has every night.

These students, forced to grow up in seconds, need our support. Every ounce of it. What they have been through no child should ever have to endure.
