to pay his lawyers, etc like they did with Bernie Madoff's stuff? Can the govt do that with tRump properties if he (and his family) is found guilty of corruption, conspiracy, money laundering or for breaking the Emoluments Clause?

(279 posts)I don't know the answer, but since the indictment asks for the forfeiture of much of Manafort's property obtained by his ill-gotten gains, that may be an obstacle to Manafort's selling any of it to raise funds for legal fees. Just a thought.

(11,802 posts)He died. I discovered him watching Luke Cage on Netflix. I was all, "who the hell is this powerhouse?" He gave new perspective to a Sabbath tune I don't usually care for.
