When the reporter pointed out that those Indianans are in pain because of the actions of their federal government, Kudlow tried to minimize the damage it does to companies in the Midwest.
I appreciate the concern, absolutely, the adviser said. But I will say so far the pain has been de minimis, really very little.
With all respect, Ryssdal replied, thats easy for you to say sitting here on the second floor of the West Wing of the White House.
Kudlow then appeared to take issue with the reporters comment.
Now, dont class warfare me or anything like that, he told Ryssdal, adding that the White House knows quantitatively that the tariffs have had an almost unmeasurable impact on gross domestic product.
And WH-numbers are trustworthy. Just look at their faked report on US poverty.

(65,134 posts)Since he's been wrong about everything (provably) for 30 years, how are we supposed to ever agree?
Disagreement is our only option!

(35,079 posts)So we shouldn't disagree with Kudlow, debunk what he says, or support dissenting opinions against him; so starting now you either think he is infallible or you're a class warfare socialist!!1!

(17,988 posts)Had to wait until the Bush tax cuts expired, they were for 10 years.
He spent his first two years trying to get the ACA. Something even Nixon wanted. And now that Republicans are trying to dismantle the people have decided they want it,too.
This is really the most corrupt Congress in my memory and that is pretty long.
Started with Newt Gingrich , Dick Army and Tom DeLay and their flunkies. Has now reached the level of corrption that gave us Trump.
We can not depend on Congress or the Supreme Court any more. Only out Intelligence Agencies

(101,347 posts)even when they are the "Washington insiders"? It's the one Kudlow has shackled himself to. Take a look at Trump whipping up the mob eery other day and decide who's indulging in "class warfare".

(10,038 posts)Except for Jeff Sessions and his suck ups, the DOJ and the intelligence groups are competently going about their work and not enriching themselves at the taxpayers expense. I am so beyond tired of Trumps troop of pampered idiots like Kudlow, Ross, and Mnuchin. I shudder to think about two more years of this because even if Trump somehow leaves office, Pence will either keep these people or just choose equally bad ones.

(23,266 posts)The REAL class warfare is what the 1% has been doing to US for decades. THEIR income isn't stagnant, and it sure as he&ll isn't declining. THEIR jobs aren't getting shipped overseas. THEY are not living paycheck to paycheck, hoping that costs (like health insurance) don't go up. THEY are buying yachts and vacation mansions, while WE hope that someday we can have a small house. THEY are buying $15,000 ostrich jackets while WE hope our blue jeans hold up another month.
F&uck you Kudlow, and the 1% horse you rode in on!
