Are those devices geared to the mass production on a scale necessary to make a difference?

They are AMAZING at R&D and prototyping though. The company I work for will be getting one very soon and I'm super excited!

The material isn't as strong as like a vacuum formed part, so you can't really get a workable finished product straight out of them yet.

But for small runs and the things i mentioned, they are amazing. They keep getting better and better too, so i see mass production capabilities coming sooner or later.
