The "deal" between Trump and his Intelligence Departments.

Since his Presidency depends on the Mueller investigation being a "hoax", Trump cannot validate his adviser's intelligence that Russia attacked our democracy and our electoral process. Because that would mean that Mueller's investigation is not a "hoax".

So, the "deal" that was made, Trump can continue to call it a "hoax" and his Cabinet and advisers can tell the people the truth about Russia and their interference in our elections. It's a very cynical ploy to keep his base angry and out-raged.

Unfortunately, the truth cannot be both a "hoax" and a legitimate investigation.

But, Trump wants to have his cake and eat it too.

So, his Party and his Cabinet made a deal with him.

They would try to tell the people the truth about what is happening and he could continue to lie to protect his political interests.
