BEWARE......TrumpCare "Short Term" Junk Health Insurance Policies are here.....

The Trump Administration has come with their "Better, Cheaper" Obamacare alternative....SHORT TERM health policies designed to cover NOTHING while costing the Consumer EVERYTHING....

The Trump administration’s new attack on Obamacare will expose consumers to surprise, sometimes staggering medical bills.

Just ask some of the state officials who deal with these kinds of issues every day.

They are part of the National Association of Insurance Commissioners, which happened to be meeting in Boston this weekend, days after the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) finalized new rules for “short-term, limited-duration” insurance policies.

These plans, which insurers have sold for decades, are supposed to provide minimal, temporary assistance for people with brief gaps in coverage. For that reason, they are not subject to the Affordable Care Act’s regulations. Short-term policies do not have to cover mental health care, prescriptions, or other services that the 2010 health care law calls essential. And insurers don’t have to sell these policies to people who have pre-existing medical conditions.

DO NOT let your friends fall for this SCAM.....Please heed, read, and share. This may mean the difference between life and BANKRUPTCY due to a Medical emergency.

health insurance, but couldn’t get, or wouldn’t pay for, or thought they were getting, real health insurance. Another example of tRump making America great again.

Seems to me,it was legal to sell this Junk in certain Red States at the time. Remember this Junk being sold in Nevada and Texas and the company was tied to the Bush Family and run out of Houston or Dalles.

Cheap as all hell, but, your coverage required a 7800 dollar per couple co-pay,and pre existing conditions prevented any catastrophic coverage.

no reason T Rump can't repurpose his old University into a Health Insurer.

My city University's gargantuan 'non-profit' medical center got into the health insurance game. Why not shitler's university?

Many years ago I worked while going to college at night for a place that offered one of these plans, I actually read the fine print, it was beyond comical how bad the insurance was.

It had stuff in it like:
Nothing covered under $1000.
$1000-1750 covered
Nothing covered over $1750.

Monthly premium of $78 month.

So basically I would have been paying $936 a year for insurance that would only pay for the $750 between $1K and $1750. The only way it wouldn't be a net loss is if I got sick for over $1000 several times throughout the year. And that was just the basics, there were all kinds of other BS clauses in it too, it basically paid for nothing and gave people the false sense that they actually had insurance.
