(4,341 posts)This maniac loves no one but himself, he is a coward, the thought of going to jail and being surrounded by all the macho men scares the sh^& out of him because he knows they won't take no crap from him.
He will throw everyone in his family under the bus to try to save himself.

(15,313 posts)I doubt he is really connected to any of them except sweet, sweet Vanessa (whoops Ivanka). And she is probably already on the outs.
Maybe he can adopt Hope Hicks? But that would be incest.

Of course he would pardon him, but I am really curious as to what happens then. Does Jr. get kicked out of his office in the WH? Lose his security clearance? What if Il Duce Deuce keeps everything just as it is even though Jr. gets indicted? Will Congress react to that?

(22,038 posts)Minor point: Don, Jr. doesn't have a White House job and he doesn't have a security clearance.
I do think Trump would pardon his son if indicted.

(8,138 posts)His involvement in the campaign has been in the news so much that it seems current.
And the same questions apply to Kushner too.

(22,038 posts)...if this was a Democratic administration. There would be calls for him to be prosecuted for lying on his SF-86 and his many other lies, distortions and purposeful omissions.
Like Junior, Kushner faces legal jeopardy.

(5,179 posts)unless Dotard Sr. is implicated in the conspiracy. I'm certain he's already convinced them all it's the only way out for all of them.

(10,030 posts)I cant remember the gist of his testimony, but did he repeat under oath that the Trump Tower meeting was only about adoptions?
Dave Starsky
(5,914 posts)His dad provided the walkback later that the Trump Tower meeting was only about adoptions.
Trump, Sr., totally destroyed that bullshit yesterday with his stupid Tweet.
So yes, he committed perjury.

(4,291 posts)Perhaps its because I have a moral compass. Something sadly lacking in this entire bloodline.
Or perhaps because my go-to response is not deflection, denial and obfuscation. I dont whine fake news! whenever some attacks me or my position.
I can imagine a lot of things, and thanks to you, Uncle George and other cast members of that landmark sci-fi series broadcast into my adolescence, theyre bright, positive and hopeful. But this ^^ isnt one of them.
The rotten, worm-riddled apples did not fall far from the blighted tree.
Whereas, my father served our country in uniform with honor and distinction.

(5,914 posts)I have known those who have survived being the son of a complete fuckhead father, and they were among the greatest people I ever met. I have also known other such survivors who were not only as bad as their dad, but even worse. More often, those people use their awful dads as role models, instead of as warnings.
Don Jr. is one of those people.
