I just saw a Kavanaugh ad narrated by a young AA woman who says she clerked for him and who claims to be a registered Democrat, and she says he'll be a great justice. It was very much like a couple of Gorsuch ads I saw. I think these ads are being shown because, even though we can't vote directly, we can vote for Senators. They want to protect the GOP Senate.

was so similar and followed almost the same script. Female former law clerk, identified as a Democrat, talking about his temperament and fairness. The women were even seated exactly the same speaking to the camera. The two ads were surely made by the same people.

To get constituents interested enough to pressure their Senators to vote a certain way.

I suspect they are mostly being run in Red states with a Democratic senator up for election (North Dakota, Montana, Missouri, West Virginia) or Blue states where a Republican senator might be persuaded to vote no (Maine, Alaska).

They ran it 3x on wsaz. It is being used to be against the wv senator. The dems need to run anti kavanaugh. They need to scream his anti worker beliefs. That he believes trump is above the law. He sure did not think the same for Clinton.
