In 2012, she got 2,162 votes in Philly & (21,341 statewide). But in 2016, she got 6,679 votes in Philly & (49,941 statewide).

I.e., her margin alone would have flipped the state of PA.

But how many did the Green Party get, same thing.

In the old days, the GOP had to resort to code to get its donors to each pay their $2000 to someone like Nader in order to get a third party splitter on the ballot so that e-vote hackers could siphon 4-5% of the Dem vote and give it to the third party splitter, changing the election outcome.

Now, with Citizen United, one Russia mobster, or Sheldon Addelson or the Kochs can single handedly finance a third party splitter. I am betting that Stein did not get nearly as many votes as people think she did--and that many of the Greens know that they are stealing votes from Dems, and that they justify it by saying "If things are bad enough, then we will have a revolution"

But we also have the right to criticize them if we think they undermine the very principles they say they stand for by voting for third party spoilers. Our criticism does not take their right to vote for anyone away.
