OH-12: This race gets fought again in November.

This election is a placeholder until November. I think I heard that.

I think it will be the same two candidates. So now it comes down to money and who is going to spend it. Are republicans going to throw money into a campaign of someone who barely won in a district that should have been a walk?

Even though it’s only a couple months away, there are several factors working in the Dems favor: the momentum from the tightness of this election, the tariffs damage, Trump continuing to be himself, a gaffe-prone opponent, issues like Medicare and healthcare coverage, and the constant drip, drip, drip coming from the Russia, Manafort, and Cohen investigations/cases. I’d think the college kids being back in November would also be a plus for O’Connor.

if the majority of green party voters simply voted D.

That is to say... if you added like 1000 votes to O'Connor... the difference would have been less that the .5 percent of the vote total between the two... at which point the provisional votes would be counted. The chances are that the 17 to 20 percent difference (historical) in those votes would make up the other 800 votes needed to beat the R.

Sigh.

I really hate the Green Party at this point. Nader, Stein, and now this too.

I am really so tired of the attitude of spoiled brats... "if they don't represent MY views completely then I will vote third party or sit on my hands".

Our country is at stake... our planet is at stake.

Republican Party. And if we can link them more than just Jill Stein to Russia then we should link them to Russia - I'm sure they can be linked.

If we can put a pin in the Green party's balloon we can win this seat and plenty more like it.

There is only one chance and one party that is going to

1. Save the Democracy
2. Protect our planet from global warming
3. Clean up our environment
4. Save Social Security, the VA, Medicare
5. Engage with the rest of the planet
6. Protect immigrants and keep their families together

It's not the Republicans (Trumpers), and it's not the Greenies (Russian tools)
