Two Texas election surveys in the past two days - some highlights

Monday was actually the second time I was polled by Ted Cruz.
The first time was galling. I had to explain WHY I didn't like Cruz. I referred them to W's answer: I just don't like the guy.
When they asked what was the one thing I liked about Ted Cruz, I told them his name was short.
When they asked what I did not like about Beto O'Rourke, I told them he was too tall. <snort>

Monday's call was similar, but they left out asking my opinion of some coalition between him and Netanyahu I had to Google.

Tuesday's call was from the Kenny Marchant team.
Some long list of campaign planks that I shut down, because they framed the solutions the same: boost (big) businesses by reducing govt red tape (oversight). Support the vets (that won't see any support) by bolstering our defense economy. Fight terrorism (huh?) and "illegals" (by caging children). Hell naw to all of the above.
Had to coach the girl again and again on pronouncing BET-oh's name. She couldn't even pronounce Marchant!

Stingers:
Do you think there is sufficient evidence to begin impeachment of Trump? (!!!)
Will Trump's unpopularity affect your decision?

Abbott or Valdez for Gov? Churchill told me to vote for Valdez. Hehe. https://gizmodo.com/texas-governor-tweets-fake-churchill-quote-about-fascis-1828159181

GOD I HOPE YOU VOTE! I WILL!

Both were young, disinterested phone novices, who claimed they weren't political. Best of luck to your retirements!
