Ingraham: America We Know and Love Doesnt Exist Anymore in Some Places Because of Massive Demographic Changesby Josh Feldman | Aug 8th, 2018, 11:13 pm
Fox News Laura Ingraham opened her show tonight with the lefts effort to remake America, bringing up recent comments from Alexandra Ocasio-Cortez about how America is changing.

Ingraham remarked, As if she knows all of America from her loft in Queens.
She did say that Ocasio-Cortez was kind of right in a general sense:
Because in some parts of the country, it does seem like the America that we know and love doesnt exist anymore. Massive demographic changes have been foisted on the American people and theyre changes that none of us ever voted for and most of us dont like. From Virginia to California, we see stark examples of how radically in some ways the country has changed. Now, much of this is related to both illegal and in some cases legal immigration that of course progressives love.

(16,828 posts)Shall we read this as Laura Ingraham is saying that because of Immigration, America is becoming more of a melting pot of cultures and languages in the land of opportunity? She forgets her history that in early America, people from all around the world came here, spoke languages foreign to English, had dreams of doing better, contributing to this country.
Perhaps Laura will find herself more suited in a country where the majority race is White Anglo Saxon Protestant who speaks English. Laura speaks HATE.

(51,482 posts)of demographics, it's the change in attitudes. I can remember when people cared about each other, when we had a sense of common good, when we wanted the best people to run the country, when our religious beliefs were kept personal, when we curbed ourselves to be civil, and when we recognized that through education and experience there were experts who knew more than us.

(4,516 posts)And if that threatens you then I guess you have to ask yourself why.
What is it about diversity that scares people. My guess is what drives that fear is irrational beliefs.
There was a time that I feared diversity. And I was full of negative emotions constantly. All that negativity was having bad effects on me yet the country was getting more diverse. At that point you have a choice to make. Remain negative and full of hate and rage or learn to accept the changes.
Once you accept the changes you learn that your fears were irrational and losing the hate is a good feeling.
