We can fantasize about him publicly quitting the GOP, but he did us all a solid already by showing up in the Senate to give a thumbs down to killing the ACA. Trump will never ever forgive McCain for that gesture, and I am sure the old warrior wears Trump's hatred like a badge of honor.
