Embedded in the W.H.'s two-page NDA is clause that prohibited top aides from disclosing confidential info in any form including books, without the express permission of the president.

If aides violated the terms, they would have to forfeit royalties.

So any royalties, if enforceable, would go back to the taxpayers?

The NDAs cannot be constitutional.

But the discovery phase in that lawsuit is going to be a doozy. He'll back down like he always does, for the same reason he always does -- to avoid discovery.

Those NDAs are meant to intimidate the people who sign them into not exercising the rights they still have -- b/c they're unenforceable. Also to raise the cost of exercising those rights by having to retain/consult with lawyers.
