He'd just abuse it. He doesn't like animals. He's called people he doesn't like dogs before.

They are loyal and loving & devoted to the person. Not to power or ego. Just to the person. What's the good of having a pet that doesn't understand how awesome you are? I mean, homeless people have dogs who are devoted to them.

Besides, he doesn't need a dog. He has staffers and kids & in-laws.
