Heard there's been $200,000 raised so far for Stroczyk

Heard there's been $200,000 raised so far for Strocyk... that's wonderful! But was there anything raised for McCabe who, I think, was let go right before he could collect his pension? I hope there had been money raised for him as well

Yes, there was a Gofundme for him too. Don't know how much was raised. The Velveteen Ocelot Aug 2018 #1

nearly as sympathetic a figure because it does appear that he lied to the FBI. His lie also seems to be have been self serving.

However, once the FBI began looking into how the Clinton Foundation leak happened, Horowitz claims that McCabe repeatedly misled officials about his involvement. The IG report says McCabe displayed a “lack of candor” on the topic on at least four separate occasions — falsely claiming several times that he didn’t know where the leak had come from, when in fact he had authorized it.

and they didn't follow proper procedures or even give him an opportunity to present his side of the situation - which was a shitty way to handle the situation, regardless.

If they did not follow the process, then he has a claim for wrongful termination.

I think Strockz's claim is far stronger. The decision to fire even went contrary to the administrative recommendations and it was done at a lower level than the Director. We have not heard the last of this.
