Starting this week, public schools in Florida will be required to display signs with the official state motto In God We Trust. The phrase will be posted in a conspicuous place after being endorsed by Democratic Rep. Kimberly Daniels, who is the leader of a Christian ministry.
Gov. Rick Scott signed a bill back in March, requiring each district school board to display it inside all of the schools of the district and in each building used by the district school board.
This motto is inscribed on the halls of this great capitol and inked on our currency, and it should be displayed so that our children will be exposed and educated on this great motto, which is a part of this countrys foundation, Daniels told House committee members while pushing the bill.
Something so great should not be hidden, she said.

(34,195 posts)Daniels was involved in a profanity-laced squabble with council candidate Sirretta Williams, also a local minister.
In March 2017, it was reported that Daniels was under investigation by the Florida Elections Commission after it found probable cause that she used campaign funds for personal expenses and later falsely reported information on finance reports.
Daniels has previously expressed positive feelings for slavery: "If it wasnt for slavery, I might be somewhere in Africa worshipping a tree";
and spoke dismissively of the Holocaust: "You can talk about the Holocaust, but the Jews own everything".

In the next video, Stratton is running around the aisles of the store carrying the alligator ... now he could face a $5,000 fine and five years in jail, where beer is not served.

You see, this motto is "great". Why is it great? Because of it's greatness! Never mind all that other stuff in the Constitution, you God-haters.
Other, actual US mottos that would be more apropos: E Pluribus Unum, or Novo Ordo Seclorum.
Stop letting Stupid People govern.
