Suppose Manafort is convicted in one or both of these trials, and then pardoned.

New York state can then step in and charge him with tax evasion (NY state and city taxes) and probably other things, too.

Manafort's going down.

what if there is a trumpite on the jury and there is a hung verdict. The good new may be that he is also guilty of state crimes which cannot be pardoned by trump.
