Faith Hill: The choir of angels now have the greatest voice of all time

The choir of angels now have the greatest voice of all time to lead, praise and join in to sing before Jesus. I wanted to share this photo because it shows just how soulful Aretha was without uttering a word. To say I was humbled to be in her presence would be an understatement.

Yeah, Faith, be sure to mention Jesus so the crackers sit up and pay attention... Aristus Aug 2018 #1
I don't think Aretha would have criticized her for mentioning Jesus. highplainsdem Aug 2018 #2

I can understand your being cynical much of the time, but I'm sure that tweet was sincere. highplainsdem Aug 2018 #4

And I don't think Faith Hill's mention was done cynically.

I know Faith Hill isn't one of the Bible-screamers, but I'm afraid I've grown cynical about public expressions of faith.

She and her husband are also Dems. They're also among the few in the country music crowd to unapologetically speak up for saner gun laws.

I'm just at a place where I have little trust in the country music establishment.

I think she and Tim McGraw campaigned for Hillary Cllinton, for which I'm thankful.

Anyway, Aretha is gone. She will be missed...

But there are a few--like Hill, McGraw, Roseanne Cash, Garth Brooks, and The Dixie Chicks--who aren't, and they aren't afraid to say it.

Arethra got her start singing Gospel music, and never renounced it in any, way, shape, fashion or form.

Religion, specifically Christianity, is a large part of many AA lives.

The 1st Amendment guarantees Freedom OF Religion, not Freedom FROM Religion.

And were the first to defend the Dixie Chicks, and were very pro LGBT before it was the cool thing to do?

I myself am an atheist, but some of the people I love teh most are not, and are more liberal and progressive than you probably are.

Oh, don;t like being unfairly judged? Then don;t do it.
