In the secret recording, Omarosa is heard speaking with Trump’s daughter-in-law, Lara Trump.

“It sounds a little like there’s something you’ve git in the back pocket,” Lara says in the recording. “Everybody’s positive, right?”

“I think we can work something out where we keep you along those times.”

It sounds like Trump is offering Omarosa money for her silence.

“I saw this as an attempt to buy my silence, to censor me, to pay me off.”

She also noted that their story regarding her firing keeps shifting. “This family can’t keep their story straight,” Omarosa said.

Trump also called her “so articulate.”

And where are those funds coming from? The Campaign? The Treasury? Anonymous donors? Some sly money laundering scheme? lets see the journos and law enforcement follow the money. Fascinating and no doubt nefarious.

This is barely a blip because of how far the bar has been lowered under Trump. Can you imagine a Bush or Obama family member offering a staffer a bribe to stay quiet and keep "positive"? This would be a bombshell in any other times, but we're so used to corruption now it won't even register.
