LIMBOsevic's tribute to Aretha FRANKLIN: Reading off Motown stars (she wasn't Motown) from Wiki?!1

Actually, he added that Ms FRANKLIN was *not* with Motown after running through a list of naming the biggest stars (Marvin GAYE, Gladys KNIGHT and the Pips, Diana ROSS without the Supremes, etc.). But it was clear that he was portraying himself as being totally, completely, intimately familiar with lots and lots of Black stars, or at least their names. While he tried to be heavy with emotion, it was all perfunctory, like, "I know so very many, many Blacks, or at least, their biggest stars..." The dozen or so he read might almost have been in alphabetical order as in the Wiki entry, which is also divided by decades.

He gave a brief history of recording, how some of these stars flocked to one particular studio over another one because of the acoustics "that they thought were better," like a quick seminar for his fan base, all with a wink wink that his fan base not only didn't know anything about Black recording stars, but could not possibly care less.

Well, he *was* a disc jockey... For a full list, see Wiki, below. The poor baby has a very bad throat problem, said he might not make it through today's circus, but just had to come to work "because of all that's going on - Omarosa, BRENNAN..."

I do not know. At the risk of lampooning myself while trying to lampoon LIMBOsevic. Thanks. UTUSN Aug 2018 #2

Or rather, correcting us both, the link is "Motown artists" - so everybody and everything listed is Motown, no?

As for "LIMBOsevic" - it's my pet name for LIMBAUGH, going back to the days when MILOSEVIC was arrested and tried, partly because of the physical resemblance between the two, mostly because of Fascism that our American wingnuts would end up instituting if their policies were carried to their natural extreme.
