He was supposed to sing "Nessun Dorma" (from Puccini's Turandot) at the Grammies that year but had to cancel last minute due to ill health. Sister 'Reatha stepped in and sang it. O M G. It is a notoriously difficult song due to the upper register notes. She had little time to prepare - like less than 24 hours - but she walked out on that stage and NAILED IT TO THE FLOOR. Check Google for it.

Now THAT is what a DIVA does.

I never knew she sang that. It was beautiful and brought tears to my eyes. I also really enjoyed hearing some of this beautiful song in English.
