I'm really confused by this official bloviation from the Madman. Is this supposed to be a bad thing?

Donald J. Trump?Verified account @realDonaldTrump

The Boston Globe, which was sold to the the Failing New York Times for 1.3 BILLION DOLLARS (plus 800 million dollars in losses & investment), or 2.1 BILLION DOLLARS, was then sold by the Times for 1 DOLLAR. Now the Globe is in COLLUSION with other papers on free press. PROVE IT!

The Boston Globe is "colluding" with other newspapers to engage in a right that's been constitutionally guaranteed to them for over 200 years? Come again?

I know his supporters understood it to be a signal to attack the press (again) - because that's what it was.

The word "collusion" is one Trump is happy he got to learn, even though he clearly doesn't understand what it means.

then why all the ruckus about the press?

It's just more of the "fake" press is out to get me BS. I'm not colluding, everyone else is colluding against me whine-fest.

And his base is responding - they've already threatened the Boston Globe.

It’s like a mash-up of too many chapters from dystopian novels.

Who the hell knows anymore

One of my grandparents got like that near the end. Made no sense at all most of the time. It's like they were externalizing their internal discussions halfway through them.

not be enough and that the accusation should be proven before being taken as true. Too bad he does not use that standard when it comes to someone other than himself.

What matters is that Trump told you they did something wrong, therefore you must believe it. Think of him as the Pope, only cruder and with a MAGA hat instead of a mitre.
